Loyal fans of Ariana Grande are urging that a man who jumped a barricade and grabbed the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or deported from Singapore.

A circulating clip shows the Australian man shoving aside camera operators and lunging at Grande while the cast walked down a event pathway flanked by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo promptly pulled the surprised performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being led away of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "free after being taken in", though court documents showed that he was set to be present on the next day. It is not clear if he was charged.

Record of Event Invasions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a concert or event. His Instagram account contains videos of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including jumping on stage at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in recently and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last December.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is obviously a criminal offence," stated an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user remarked.

Supporters Express Concern Over Grande's Well-being

Numerous fans accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of experiencing PTSD after a terrorist explosion at the end of her 2017 concert in Manchester, killing 22 people and injuring many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" wrote a further response on Instagram.

Several supporters also faulted event staff at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals requested digital services to block Mr Wen's uploads.

Reaction and Event Details

In footage circulating online, Grande appeared startled when she was approached by the man. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has not issued a statement on the incident, and the rest of the event continued without further issues.
