Football Star Welsh Athlete Ramsey Ups Incentive for Missing Pet in Mexican Territory to £15k
Wales athlete Aaron Ramsey has increased the incentive for details about the lost dog Halo to $$20k.
Ex- Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who currently is with the Mexican club Pumas in the capital, stated that Halo was observed in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato region.
The beagle, who disappeared on 9 October, was had on a tracking device, and the footballer published a map pinpoint of where she was last seen.
"Any sort of news regarding our pet Halo please contact us. Big bounty for locating her. We are all wishing she's ok and will return to our family shortly," the athlete wrote on social media.
Initial Bounty and Emotional Appeals
Ramsey initially revealed that his dog had gone missing 14 days prior and has subsequently uploaded several photos of the adored dog on Instagram.
A £7.5k bounty was originally provided, but with no news on the dog's location after a seven days, the player and his loved ones raised the reward.
"Our only wish is Halo home," he said in another plea on social media after the 10-year-old pet disappeared.
The most recent picture post is a black and white snapshot of Halo sleeping, her head resting in the bend of Ramsey's arm, with the description: "How I wish to cuddle you one last time Halo."
Family's Anxieties and Context
Ramsey has also shared a statement from his spouse Colleen on online channels indicating they have some "pressing queries" regarding the disappearance and fear the household "could possibly not receive explanations".
"We have yet to are still searching for Halo. I don't think we will," his wife's post stated.
The Wales leader signed with Mexican first division club Club Universidad Nacional earlier this year and made his inaugural match in the Mexican league in August.
The Caerphilly-born player is the first well-known British Isles athlete to participate in the Liga MX.
