Edwards along with O'Neil are two of the initial candidates under consideration to replace Vitor Pereira as head coach of Wolves.

The previous coach was sacked on the weekend after the squad's ten-game winless beginning to the Premier League campaign.

Furthermore Edwards and O'Neil - both of who have historic associations to the team - are part of the options to be considered by the club ownership.
